Dr. Allen grew up in Williamston, Michigan, admiring horses for as long as she can remember. From her early days in Pony Club to competing in dressage today, horses have always been in her life. A 2012 graduate of Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, she completed an internship in equine medicine, lameness, and surgery at Wisconsin Equine Clinic and Hospital. Dr. Allen holds certifications in both Veterinary Acupuncture (Chi Institute) and Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy (aka Chiropractic, from the Healing Oasis Wellness Center). Allen Equine Veterinary Services  was founded in 2019.  As an active dressage rider who trains and competes her own German Riding Pony, Golden Will, she brings a rider's eye to equine lameness and performance medicine. Dr. Allen loves being a part of her clients' journeys and celebrating their successes. She is deeply grateful for the wonderful community that supports AEVS.

When she isn’t around horses, you’ll find Dr Allen hiking and traveling with her husband, Jordan, and gardening.
