Day Time Hours (8am to 8pm) 7 days/week - Contact the AEVS office
AEVS emergency services are available for current clients whom we have seen for routine non-emergent appointments within the last 12 months and whose account is in good standing. Our veterinarians are on call for you from 8am to 8pm every day of the week, including weekends. Call the office number, select Extension 2 for Emergency to leave a voicemail with your concern, and your call will be returned shortly. If you do not receive a call back immediately, please keep in mind that the doctor may be assisting another emergency and will call you as soon as possible. Text messages are not monitored after 5pm, so please call from prompt service.
Overnight Hours (8pm to 8am) 7 days/week - Contact VetTriage via the link below
For overnight emergency care, AEVS has partnered with VetTriage to offer video telehealth assistance with a large animal veterinarian. The VetTriage veterinarians are available 24-7 and will assess your horse on a live video chat or phone call to determine if your horse requires immediate emergency care or monitoring at home until AEVS re-opens. In the event that immediate care is necessary, they will coordinate your visit to the nearest emergency veterinary hospital, or if your horse is down and unable to be transported, our doctors will be contacted.
